Outreach
We provide support within our community for those affected by breast cancer
RVCBCC Outreach Program
Our Outreach Program is designed to provide support to those in our community who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Our goal is to help alleviate the financial and emotional stress through with our Care Counselor and Outreach Programs.
Care Counselors
The RVCBCC Care Counselors are women who have been through breast cancer and are residents of the Southern Nassau County towns we service.
Join our support community and get confidential advice from those who understand. Our goal is to help you cope with the emotional and practical challenges of breast cancer.
The answers to these questions are different for everyone because no two people experience cancer in the same way. Our care counselors are here to provide emotional support, confidential assistance from survivors and referrals to supportive programs.
When someone is first diagnosed, it seems overwhelming. From the moment of diagnosis, life will never be the same. But the tips and advice from our care counselors and women who have been through it will give you tools you need to get through your diagnosis and treatment.

Need Help?
We’re Here For You
The RVCBCC is now supporting women undergoing treatment for breast cancer in both RVC and surrounding towns. If you live in the area and are currently being treated for breast cancer at any stage and would like to take advantage of this network of support, we are here for you.
In addition to the many resources we have access to, our care counselor team will match you with a care counselor who is a breast cancer survivor. Our recipients have found that it helps to have someone to lean on – a person who can help with questions and provide emotional support during this difficult time.
If you need support or would like to join our team of amazing women, please contact us today!
