October Breast Cancer Awareness 2021
The RVCBCC is committed to generating awareness during October Breast Cancer Awareness month. Last year businesses in Rockville Centre helped us by displaying posters to remind women to schedule their annual mammograms. This year, we are canvasing out to other towns in Southern Nassau County to spread the word.
Also this month, together with our local leaders and Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital, we are co-sponsoring a No-Cost Breast Cancer Screening event. In addition, we will continue to invest in advertising to educate our community about the importance of these screenings.
Our hope is that these initiatives help inform, educate and save a life.
